School Magazine “Mirror”

Welcome to El Zahraa School Magazine

A school magazine is a type of magazine unique to its own people, contains all the activities, important events, advice, story sharing, variety of articles written by the students and staff. It’s a historic document of the growth of the school. It informs the future generation of students about the traditions built up of their school by providing valuable publication with opportunity where the students can show their various talents.

“Mirror” was reborn in October 2018. The students have opportunity to express themselves in English, French and Arabic supervised by respective guardians. After completing their writing, articles are submitted to the Editor to be proofread and revised in addition to page design.

As an editor, I personally think that the “Mirror” give opportunity for many to express their opinion, and produce a great value to the rest of the school as the articles written can help many to understand things better and open mind for many different aspects. For the students who are constantly involved in the school magazine it develops writing, research and general knowledge in addition, the students can ask thoughtful questions, think critically and express themselves in a way to be easy read by others.

I want to thank everyone who has shared in those additions, magazine members who did wonderful work to put their fingerprint and spark which will be seen by generations to come, and non-members who wants to dedicate their time and show their talents.

As a Magazine team, we want to:

To provide opportunity to the students for self-expression in written form
To develop and cultivate in students the literary taste and study habits
To act as a means unity of the school by students involvement in its life
Develop the student’s creativity for better utilization of their leisure time
To develop in students a sense of loyalty towards the institution, being proud of its achievements
To provide encouragement for and stimulate worth-while activities.
